Alice R. Lawrence

WOODRUFF- Alice Robinson Lawrence, 86, of 1021 W. Georgia Road passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Ft. Inn Nursing and Rehab.

 A native of Boydton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Deb Huckaby Robinson and was the widow of Charlie G. Lawrence.  She was a retired seamstress with Intedge and was a member of West End Baptist Church.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mary Carlton of Woodruff and Margaret Godfrey of Woodruff; one son, Grover Lawrence of Woodruff; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at their respective homes.
