Ed Knox

ROEBUCK- Clarence Edward “Ed” Knox, 69, of 160 Reedy Street died Friday, July 21, 2017 at his home.

  A native of Union County, he was the son of the late James Everette Painter and Mildred Knox.  He was a Baptist and was a retired textile employee.

  Surviving are one brother, Ronnie (Debbie) Painter of Laurens; fiancé, Judy Satterfield; 1 stepson, Jerry Keller of Spartanburg and 3 daughters, Melissa Phillips of Roebuck, Jenny Stafford of Roebuck and Freida Johnson of Spartanburg; half-brother, Larry Painter of Union.

  Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 12795 Hwy. 221, Woodruff by Rev. Paul Smith.
