Dickie W. Morgan

ENOREE- Dickie Wallace Morgan, 57, of 5 Lewis Street went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 29, 2016.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Walter Perry and Velvie Price Morgan.  He was a member of Enoree Church of God, a graduate of Woodruff High School and was a former employee with LEAR Corporation.

  Surviving are his wife of 38 years,  Elaine Mobley Morgan of the home; one daughter, Megandee Morgan of the home and her fiancé, Alex Starnes; one son, Satchua Morgan of South Korea; one sister, Juanita Morgan Sloan of Woodruff; two brothers, Walter “Cookie” Morgan of Woodruff and Claude Morgan of Cross Anchor.  He dearly loved his children and his four constant companions, his dogs with whom followed him everywhere.  He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Jerry Barrineau and Rev. Deryk Morgan.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00-2-45 P.M. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Enoree Church of God, 13767 Hwy. 221, Enoree, S.C. 29335.

  The family is at the residence.
