Edgar Jackson

WOODRUFF- Marshall Edgar Jackson Jr., 74, of 403 Bimini Way went to his heavenly home on December 15, 2017.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Marshall Edgar Jackson Sr. and Eula Jackson.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Spartanburg where he was former song leader for 20 years, was a retired employee with Crown Cork and Seal and had served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

  Surviving are his wife, Betty West Jackson of the home; one daughter, Tammy Michelle Strength of Spartanburg; one son, Brian Scott Jackson of Woodruff; one sister, Carolyn Riddle of Mauldin; 6 grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Jack Jackson.

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Terry King.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at their respective homes.
