Jerry W. Starnes

WOODRUFF- Jerry Walter Starnes, 80, formerly of Woodruff, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Hospice of Laurens County.

  A native of Laurens County, he was the son of the late John and Pearl Vandiver Starnes and was the widow of Clara Robertson Starnes.  He was a retired textile employee with Reeves Bros. Mills Mill Plant and was U.S. Air Force Veteran.

  Surviving are one nephew, Robert Martin “Rob” Starnes Jr. of Laurens; one brother, David Starnes.

  A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
