Leona M. O’Shields

WOODRUFF- Grace Leona Mann O’Shields, 83, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  A native of Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Phillips Mann and was the widow of David Cullen O'Shields.  She was a retired employee with Spartanburg County School District 4 having worked in the cafeteria at Woodruff Elementary School and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

  Surviving are two sons, John O’Shields and Rita Barbee of Woodruff and Brian (Sherry) O’Shields of Shelby, N.C.; 2 grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:15 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at the home of John O’Shields, 1254 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff.
