Lois B. Lee

WOODRUFF- Lois Ballard Lee, 87, of 135 Parsons Road went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 9, 2018 at her residence.

  A native of Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lillie Mae Nix Ballard and was the widow of John Gary “Bill” Lee Jr.  She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a former employee with Enro Shirt Company and retired from Walmart Distribution.

  Surviving are one daughter, Karen (Leonard) Woodward of the home; one daughter-in-law, Sue Lee of Woodruff; two sisters-in-laws, Mary and Lula Lee both of Woodruff; 3 grandchildren, Gary (Amber) Lee, Kevin Lee and Rhonda Woodward; 4 great-grandchildren, Noah Lee, Caroline Lee, Cooper Lee and Olivia Lee.  She was predeceased by a son, Larry Edward Lee.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church by Rev. Robert King and Dr. David Boyter.  Interment will follow in the Darby Cemetery at Green Pond Baptist Church.

  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 464 Woodruff Street, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

  The family is at the residence.
