Wade Arnold Jr.

WOODRUFF- Wade Arnold Jr., 89, of 506 Westmoreland Road died Thursday, October 12, 2017.

  A native of Laurens County, he was the son of the late Toby Alvin and Emma Lou Long Arnold and was the widower of Mary Frances Lawson Arnold.  He was a retired employee with Spartan Steel.

  Surviving are two daughters, Kay Lancaster of Woodruff and Brenda Locklair of Woodruff; two sons, Alvin Arnold of Gray Court and James Arnold of Woodruff; 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and 4 great-great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Wilson Lancaster and Rev. Steve Christopher.  Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  The family is at the home of Rev. Wilson and Kay Lancaster, 510 Westmoreland Road, Woodruff.
