ROEBUCK- Jordan Lee Liston, 41, of 1477 Price House Road passed away Friday, March 1, 2024.

  He was born September 25, 1982, in Anderson County.  Jordan was a deeply caring and thoughtful individual.  He was consistently supportive of his family and friends; lifting them up and making sure they knew he loved them.  He also had compassion for animals and offered a home to so many who needed one.  Jordan enjoyed simply being outside by the river with his animals that he loved and cared for.

  Jordan loved people and people loved Jordan.  He laughed often and lit up the world by helping others smile.  He had several friends who became family because of his nonjudgemental attitude and his welcoming demeanor.  He brought all kinds of people together because they all enjoyed being around him.  Jordan touched many lives because of his kindness, generosity, and genuine love of others.

  Surviving is his wife, Melissa Byars Liston of the home; daughter, Jerzee Liston of the home; parents, Dr. William Rallie Liston and Joyce Wright Liston of Woodruff; sister, Joanna Neal (Christan) of Anderson; brother, Wesley Liston (Virginia) of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Etta Gentry Wright of Anderson; paternal grandmother, Frieda Chastain Liston of Taylors; nephews, Henry Liston, John Liston, Liston Neal and McTyeire Neal.

  A private family graveside service will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  The family will greet friends at the home of his parents, Dr. Rallie and Joyce Liston, 117 Oakwood Drive, Three Pines, Thursday, March 7, 2024, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
