WOODRUFF- Ann Knight Theo, 79, formerly of 942 S.J. Workman Highway, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Regional Hospice Home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Mary Sumner Knight and was the widow of Billy Clyde Theo who died November 11, 1983.  She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher, teacher’s aid, cheerleading coach and former bus driver with Spartanburg County District Four Schools.

  Surviving are one daughter, Leigh Theo Johnson and her husband, Ricky of Campobello; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Blake Johnson, Whitt Theo and Olivia Theo.  She was predeceased by a son, Billy Clyde Theo II who died October 4, 2015.

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Fred Quidley and Danny Monroe.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00- 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 1530 Drayton Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

  The family is at their respective homes.
