WOODRUFF- Charlotte Mitchell Morton, 93, formerly of Woodruff went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Woodlands Assisted Living in Rockland, Maine.

A native of Somerville, Massachusetts, she was born December 31, 1925 to the late Harold LeRoy and Aletta Dolham Mitchell. She was a retired seamstress with Enro Shirt Company and was a member of the Woodruff Church of God.

Surviving are one son, Vernard Harold Morton of Camden, Maine; one sister, Bernice Burkoski of Cushing, Maine; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Buster Ball. A private interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Church of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 275, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
