Doris G. Burch

ENOREE- Doris Gentry Burch, 88, of 1460 Rocky Ridge Road passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Regional Hospice Home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Ott Eugene and Vallie Bearden Gentry and she was the widow of Sammie Pete Burch Jr.  She was a member of Enoree First Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU, the Gladys Farmer Sunday School Class and the church choir.  She also sang with the Martha Franks Singers in Laurens.  She was a retired employee with Inman Mills Ramey Plant.

  Surviving are two daughters, Joan B. St. Germain of Enoree and Kathy B. Hughes of Enoree; 4 grandchildren, Clint Letourneau (Ramona), Curt Letourneau, Shane Duke (Stephanie) and Chad Duke (Micah); 5 great-grandchildren, Casey Letourneau, Isabelle Letourneau, Pierce Duke, Caleigh Jo Duke and Crew Duke.  Mrs. Burch was predeceased by a son-in-law, William Ray Hughes.

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Enoree First Baptist Church by Rev. Andy Moore.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Enoree First Baptist Church, 1150 Parker Road, Enoree, S.C. 29335 or Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

  The family is at the residence.
