Era W. Taylor
ENOREE- Era Whitmore Taylor, 89, of 113 Whitmore Road passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Pet Boyd and Nina Leopard Whitmore. She was a homemaker and was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she sung in the choir and was over the Joy Group for many years and was also a Sunday School Teacher. She was a very caring person, she always looked out for others and was Granny to everybody. She was Aunt E to all her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are one daughter, Frances (Pilot) Murphy of Enoree; one son, James (Barbara) Taylor of Enoree; 3 sisters, Rose Mary Knight of Greenville, Patricia Greene of Enoree and Shirley Whitmore Glenn of Laurens; 3 grandchildren, Camille Murphy, Boyd (Myra) Taylor and Dylan (Colleen) Taylor; 5 great grandchildren, Luke Taylor, Lily Taylor, Lexi Taylor, Cayden Dyer, Brayden Taylor and Baby Jensen Taylor.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. AT Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. Kevin Bishop, Rev. Bill Bynum and Rev. Burton Ott. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 3200 Hwy. 92, Enoree, S.C. 29335.
The family is at the home of James Taylor, 111 Whitmore Road, Enoree.
