Jack Vaughn Jr.

ROEBUCK- Jack Vaughn Jr., 82, of 4200 Walnut Grove Road died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Regional Hospice Home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Jack Vaughn Sr. and Maudie Lee Cox Vaughn.  He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and Cavins Masonic Lodge #226 and was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was a retired employee with Lyman Printing & Finishing and was also a former contractor.  He was first married to the late Marlene Smith Vaughn.

  Surviving are his wife, Brenda Kay Scott Vaughn of the home; one son, Dennis Vaughn of Spartanburg; two stepdaughters, Amy Stribling of Woodruff and Jan Stribling of Spartanburg; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Unity Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45 P.M. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5850, Greenville, S.C. 29601.

  The family is at the residence.
