Jason L. Smith
PACOLET- Jason Lee Smith, 33, of 227 Green Street passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at his home.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of James Ralph and Teresa Darlene Hoyt Smith. He was a former employee of Frady Asphalt and Paving and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Melissa Lynn Smith Bankole of Spartanburg; one brother, Daniel Smith of Pacolet; maternal grandfather, David Hoyt.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Fred Quidley.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Melissa Bankole, 16 Tennent Street, Spartanburg.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff, S.C. 29388 to help with funeral expenses.
