WOODRUFF- John Hampton Lanford, 68, of 1219 West Georgia Road passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was born November 17, 1950 to the late Walter Belton and Beatrice Martha Tiner Lanford. He was a retired textile employee and had served in the U.S. Marines.

Surviving are one daughter, Johnnie Lynn Lanford of Woodruff, two step-daughters, Donna Harkins of Woodruff and Mary Ginn of Leesville; one sister, Faye Vaughn of Woodruff; one brother, Jimmy Lanford of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren, Maggie Renteria, Marie Renteria, Elizabeth Penland, John Harkins, Randy Bailey, Donna Bailey, Ronnie Rice, Cynthia Lanford, Timothy Lanford, Mary Lanford and Katie Lanford; 2 great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lanford and Delia King. He was predeceased by a dstep-daughter, Christina Phillips.
