WOODRUFF- William Kenneth “Ken” Gwinn, 82, of 64 Varner Street went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Gordon Franklin and Ruth Waddle Gwinn and the widower of Bucie Brown Gwinn who passed away January 28, 2011.  He was the retired owner and operator of Gwinn Lumber Company and was President of Gwinn Rental Agency.  He was a member of Cavins Baptist Church and Bethel Masonic Lodge #112.  Mr. Gwinn had also served in the Army National Guard.

  Surviving are one son, K. Mark Gwinn of the home; one sister, Brenda Bright of Woodruff.

  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 30, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 3:00-3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Memorial contributions may be made to Cavins Baptist Church, 1707 SJ Workman Hwy., Woodruff, S.C. 29388 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

  The family is at the residence.
