WOODRUFF- Lynda Knighton Williams, 52, of 1203 Bobcat Lane passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  A native of Cape May, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Mabel Watts Knighton.  She was a member of Switzer First Baptist Church and was employed with Publix for 23 years.  She was a 1984 graduate of Woodruff High School.

  Surviving are her husband, Lacy Williams of the home; one special daughter, Christy Sanders of Woodruff; three sisters, Deborah Wallace of Garner, N.C., Wendy Richards of Woodruff and Dianna Gomez of Woodruff; one brother, Kenneth Knighton of Garner, N.C.; 2 grandsons.

  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Fred Quidley.   Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

  The family is at the residence.
