Mary Joe Granger

WOODRUFF- Mary Joe Wilson Granger, 91, of 522 Switzer Greenpond Road died Saturday, September 9, 2017.

  A native of Bray, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Cleo Hill Wilson Miller and was the widow of Robert C. Granger.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and a retired textile employee with Reeves Bros. Mills Mill Plant.

  Surviving are one daughter, Bobbie G. (Jackie) Rogers of the home; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia G. Laster and a son, Robert C. Granger Jr. and also two sisters, Flora McGolden and Florence Luning and one brother, Ornan Wilson.

  Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andrew Shull and Chaplain Major Dan Urquhart.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodruff, 801 Cross Anchor Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

  The family is at the residence.
