WOODRUFF- Connie “Midge” Lawson Crowe, 78, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Claude S. and Mildred Pearson Lawson.  She was a member of Selma Baptist Church and a retired employee with Freidman’s Jewelers.

  Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Teague of Canton, Texas and Lana Sims (Jerry) of Chesnee; one sister, Erroll Morgan of Spartanburg; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Sims of Chesnee and Jerrica Sims of Inman; 4 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Ann Jackson and Claudette Turner. 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Selma Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  The family is at the residence.
