WOODRUFF- Stephen Phillip “Phil” King, 64, of 173 Frazier Street died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Greenville County, he was the son of the late J.C. and Autence King. He was a retired plumbing contractor and a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Surviving are two daughters, Victoria Garrison of Spartanburg and Julie Camposano of Taylors; one son, Christopher Townsend of Woodruff; two sisters, Nancy Price of Cowpens and Emma Stewart of Spartanburg; one brother, Paul King of Inman; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church in Greer by Rev. Mike Hammett.
