Scott Adams
WOODRUFF- Robert Scott Adams Sr., 67, of 204 White Oak Road went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his home.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of Robert Franklin Adams Jr. of Woodruff and the late Helene “Gail” Narod Adams. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a retired plant manager with RST&B formerly in Woodruff. He was a graduate of Limestone University, a 1969 graduate of Woodruff High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Cox Adams of the home; one son Robert Scott Adams Jr. (Mary Ann Haynes Adams) of Ridgeway; 2 step-daughters, Rhonda Robison of Duncan and Lori Robison Frost (Barry Frost) of Duncan; one sister, Sharon Taylor (Danny Taylor) of Woodruff; 9 grandchildren, Ella, Clara, Luke, Courtney, Creighton, Cassidy, Hannah, Heath and Hope; 6 great-grandchildren, Rylan, Chance, Caleigh, Casen, Carter and Hadleigh; one nephew, Adam Taylor. He is also survived by his faithful companion, Samson.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Michael Cooke, Rev. Buster Ball and Father Bob Chiles.
Entombment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, 900 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family is at the residence.
