WOODRUFF- Stephen Carl Garrett, 55, husband of Paula Needham Garrett of East Georgia St. died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born April 25, 1963 in Greenville County, he was a son of Helen Thackston of Mauldin and the late Carl Truman Garrett. He was employed with Southeastern Plumbing Company and a member of Emma Gray Memorial United Methodist Church where he cooked and fed the hungry on Sunday mornings.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is daughters, Jessica Hunkin of Charleston, Abby Garrett of Clemson; son, Aiden Garrett of the home; brother, Bennett Garrett of Charlotte, NC., and three grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emma Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, 321 W Georgia St, Woodruff, SC 29388.
