Wilton Ernest Lawrence, 76, widower of Sylvia Abercrombie Lawrence, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home.

Born February 7, 1942, in Toccoa, GA., he was a son of the late Ernest Lawrence and Sallie Wheeler Lawrence. He was the owner of Lawrence Fabrication, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Bellview Baptist Church and Three Pines Golf Club.

Surviving are his daughters, Kimberly Wright (Tony) of Woodruff, Joyce McKeowen (David) of Fountain Inn, Paula Foltz (Al) of Fountain Inn, Dionne Buffington (Rodney) of Belton, Victoria Chesney (Paul) of Simpsonville; step-daughter, Jennifer Weaver (Matthew) of Woodruff; step-son, Timothy Hunnicut (Jessica) of Rock Hill; sister, Judy Wilke (Mike)of Greer; brother, Walter Lawrence (Anne) of Gray Court, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Rev. Ray Mims officiating. A private inurnment will be held in Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the mortuary.
