WOODRUFF- Abrain Christopher Godfrey, 71, of 150 Reagan Lane passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at Pelham Medical Center.

He was born June 18, 1951, in Spartanburg County to the late Paul and Zelzie Crowe Godfrey and was the widower of Carolyn Price Godfrey. He was a retired automobile mechanic.

Surviving is his daughter, Hazel Rice (Marcele) of Woodruff; six brothers, Bobby Godfrey of Duncan, Steve Godfrey of Stock Bridge, Georgia, Keith Godfrey of Woodruff, Paul Godfrey of Woodruff and Eddie Godfrey of Spartanburg; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Randy Godfrey and Curtis Godfrey.

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. No other services will be held.
