ENOREE- Adela Wingate Robinson, 77, of 3940 Old Hills Bridge Road passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024.

She was born December 14, 1946, in San Francisco, California to the late Elzy Warren Wingate and Almira Amelia Sharp Wingate. She was the owner and operator of Dela’s One Stop Grocery in Cross Anchor for many years. She was of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving are two sons, John Robinson (Sindy) of Waxhaw, North Carolina, and Kirk Robinson (Melinda) of Trussville, Alabama; two sisters, Anita Justice of Woodruff and Almira Cornell of Mason, Ohio; two brothers, Bill Wingate of Palm Coast, Florida and Warren Wingate of Yellow Springs, Ohio; 7 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff. A private interment will follow at the family cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
