Nellene Anderson

WOODRUFF- Alice Nellene Tumblin Anderson, 68, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 8, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

  She was born June 9, 1956, in Laurens County to the late Charles Cecil and Doris Cooper Tumblin.   She was a graduate of Laurens District 55 High School and a graduate of Furman University where she received her BA in accounting.  She was a member of Bramlett Methodist Church and was a retired CPA with Swain Brown PA.  She served for many years as Secretary to the Board of Director’s with Young’s Community Fire Department.

  Surviving is her husband, John Cecil Anderson of the home; two sisters, Rita T. Bobo of Gray Court and Cheryl Tumblin of Laurens; one brother, Don Tumblin of Laurens; nephew, William Bobo (Christy) of Gray Court; niece, Martha Ellerbe (Zachary) of Dallas, Texas; one great-niece and one great-nephew.

  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Bramlett Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. John Farhney.

  Visitation will immediately follow the service at the graveside.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bramlett Methodist Church, 2043 Bramlett Church Road, Gray Court, S.C. 29645
