ROEBUCK- Ann Atkins Shelby, 88, of 1520 Morris Bridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her residence.

  She was born July 7, 1935, in Pahokee, Florida to the late J.S. Atkins and Geraldine Cooper Atkins and was the widow of Gary Thomas Atkins who passed away May 28, 2021.   She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church and was a retired registered nurse.

  Surviving are two daughters, Martha Jolley (Tommy) of Roebuck and Becky Hoover (Mark) of Pauline; one son, Darby Shelby of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Richard Atkins of Orlando, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Manning Strickland.  Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck.

  In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 516 East Main Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302.

  The family is at the residence.
