Ann Teague

  Vestal Ann Kuykendall Teague,84, of 40 Somersett Drive, a loving Christian mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.  She was a woman of strong faith whose kindness, warmth, and devotion to her family touched all who knew her.

  She was born August 13, 1941, in Tryon, North Carolina to the late Vestal Kuykendall and Alice Styles Kuykendall.  She was a retired administrative assistant to her late husband, Kenneth Edward Teague Sr. who owned and operated Triangle Maintenance.  Ann was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

  She is survived by her loving children, Betty Giles of Spartanburg, with whom she made her home; Debbie Bell (Eugene Bell) of Moore, Cindy Burns Pope of Spartanburg, Timmy Teague of Roebuck and Diane Pearson (Mitchell) of Moore.  She was predeceased in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward Teague Sr., her children, Rita Teague and Kenneth Edward Teague Jr., and her cherished grandchildren, Shawn Williams and Trey Rogers.  She was also predeceased by two brothers, Marvin Kuykendall and Ralph Kuykendall.

  Ann leaves behind a large and loving family, including 18 grandchildren (7 grandsons) and 11 granddaughters) and 28 great-grandchildren (16 great-grandsons and 12 great-granddaughters) all of whom brought her great joy and pride.

  She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.  Her legacy of love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andy Parker and Rev. Johnny Parker.  Interment will follow at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers, Quinn Willard, Alexander Gomez, Tyler Teague, Chris Bell, Ben Schulte and Braxton Schulte.

  Honorary Pallbearer, Daniel Thompson

  The family is at the home of her daughter, Debbie Bell, 134 Graystone Drive, Moore.
