WOODRUFF- Annette Richards Newman, 87, of 550 Pierce Cook Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her residence.

She was born December 5, 1937 to the late John Irby and Lydia Hellams Richards. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Stokes Newman of the home; two daughters, Patricia (Royce) Bain of Douglasville, Georgia and Tammy (Duane) Bailey of Woodruff; one brother, Tom Richards of Simpsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Erette (Phyllis) Newman of Manning; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens by Chaplain Katie Harbin with Spartanburg Regional Hospice.

A formal visitation will not be held but Mrs. Newman will be available for viewing between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, 419 East Main Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

The family is at the residence.
