GRAY COURT- Anthony Wayne Koon,60, of 41 Oakley Drive passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home.

He was born January 17, 1963, to the late Clarence Joseph Koon Sr. and Nellie Shelton Koon. He was of the Church of God of Prophecy faith and was a maintenance supervisor.

Surviving is his wife, Karen Walters Koon of the home; two daughters, Alexis Koon (Calfee) of the home and Kayla Davenport of the home; one son, Dylan Davenport of Gray Court; one sister, Reba Young of Gray Court; one brother, Bill Koon (Lib) of Laurens; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Brenda Lindsey, and Angie Roper and four brothers, John Koon, Jr. Koon, James Koon and William Koon Sr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff.

The family is at the residence.
