Barbara Ann (Hensley) Bishop

Ann Bishop 

WOODRUFF- Barbara Ann Hensley Bishop, 76, of 648 Kilgore Bridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born October 20, 1946 in Spartanburg County to the late James Marshall and Thelma Inez Coates Hensley and was the widow of James Larry Bishop.  She was a retired medical assistant and was currently employed part-time at Kirkland’s in Spartanburg.  She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

  Surviving are two sons, Allen Dean Genoble (Tracey) of Woodruff and Mark Anthony Genoble (Dalila Kaddeche) of Munich, Germany; one brother, Rev. Michael Hensley of Spartanburg; 4 grandchildren, Justin Allen Genoble, Brianna Brooke Genoble, Emilia Madison Genoble and Jasmine Neyla Genoble.

  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Michael Hensley.

  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at their respective homes.
