FOUNTAIN INN- Barbara Ann Carathers Lee, 71, of 1549 Garrett Patton Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence.

She was born December 26, 1949 to the late Grady and Grace Ramsey Carathers. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, member of the church choir, worked in the nursery department, a member of the ladies Bible study, was former church custodian and never missed a Vacation Bible School. She was also a member of the Gideon Auxiliary.

Mrs. Lee was a retired employee with Sam’s Club and a former employee with Wilson Sporting Goods in Fountain Inn.

Surviving are her husband, Willard “Bill” Lee of the home; one son, Jeff Maye of Fountain Inn; one sister, Susie Willis of Erwin, Tennessee; 1 grandchild; 2 nieces and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Robert Cato and Rev. Roscoe Wilson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Laurens Hope Foundation, 404 S. Main Street, Simpsonville, S.C. 29681.
