Obituary

Benjamin Levi Knighton Jr.

WOODRUFF- Benjamin Levi (Ben/B.L.) Knighton of Woodruff passed away peacefully with his family by his side Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Spartanburg.

B.L. was a native of Spartanburg County, SC and grew up in the Enoree and Woodruff communities.  He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin Levi Knighton and Annie Grubbs Knighton, as well as his sister, Pearl Eller.  He was a graduate of Woodruff High School and Clemson University and was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Greer, SC.

  A visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen (online) or to P.O. Box 352, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
