Beth McGill Wilmer,73, entered the presence of her Heavenly Father, Sunday, September 14, 2025.

  She was born October 20, 1951, in Spartanburg County to the late Clyde McGill and Elizabeth Lanford McGill.  She was a member of Sharon Methodist Church and was a retired loan officer with Woodruff Federal Savings and Loan after 37 years.

  Beth was always known for her love of music, cruising and laughter.  She and her daughter have always had the closest relationship between a mother and daughter.  Singing was one of her favorite things to do.  Beth used the gift of music to praise her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for others to know of His Love.  She has now heard those most precious words “Well done my good and faithful servant”

  Surviving is her husband of 34 years, Dave Wilmer of the home; one daughter, Amy Peavy (Robert) of the home; grandson, Tyler Burnstin of the home; granddaughter, Riley Burnstin of the home.  She is also survived by her closest friend, Susan Dickerson.

  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Matt Yon and Mrs. Martha Gillen.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Methodist Church, 1421 Reidville Sharon Road, Greer, S.C. 29651
