Betty Phillips Taylor Burgess

ENOREE- Betty Phillips Taylor Burgess, age 90, formerly of Rocky Ridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 26, 2022, at Eden Terrace of Spartanburg.

She was born on August 07, 1932, to the late Eugene and Mildred Owings Phillips. She was the widow of John Earl Burgess and was first married to the late Samuel Carroll Taylor. She was a retired Administrative Assistant with Inman Mills.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynn Taylor Billings of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Jessica L. Billings and Taylor H. Mooneyham (Greg); one great granddaughter, Selah Mae Mooneyham.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Randy Phillips and O’Dell Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Chaplain Scott Linnerud. Interment will follow at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery, Enoree.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
