Betty Jean West Jackson, 74, of 5203 Pogue Street, Spartanburg passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

She was born January 3, 1947 to the late Herbert West and Mattie Lou McCraw West Tate and was the widow of Marshall Edgar Jackson. She was a retired employee with Spartan Undies.

Surviving are one daughter, Michelle Strength of Spartanburg; one son, Brian Jackson of Woodruff; one sister, Margaret Boulware of Woodruff; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff by Rev. Hunter Strength.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

A cremation will follow the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
