ENOREE- Betty Yarborough Sumner, 88, of 2660 Blackstock Road went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 6, 2021.

She was born May 20, 1933, in Spartanburg County to the late Ira David and Hattie Gossett Yarborough. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Enoree where she was church organist for many years and was a retired 4th grade teacher with Spartanburg County School District Four.

Surviving is her husband, Arthur Donald “Don” Sumner “Mouse” of the home; one daughter, Rhonda Sumner of Enoree; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa Billings, Deanna Lindsey (Austin) and Rhett Billings; 1 great-grandson, Brayden Cothran.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Enoree by Rev. Andy Moore and Rev. Jimmy Farmer. A private interment will follow the service at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
