LAURENS- Clarence Joseph “Bill” Koon, 64, of 2846 Ekom Beach Road passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at his home.

  He was born February 2, 1960, in Newberry County to the late Clarence Joseph Koon Sr. and Nellie Shelton Koon.  He retired from maintenance with apartment complexes.

Surviving is his wife, Martha Spillers “Lib” Koon of the home; two daughters, Melissa Sergent of Greenwood and Patricia Koon of Greenwood; one son, Brent Joseph Koon (Tiffany) of Easley; one sister, Reba Young of Gray Court; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. 

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Jesse Koon.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  A cremation will follow the service.
