Bill Stoner
ENOREE- William “Bill” LeRoy Stoner,76, of 17 Wood Street went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.
He was born January 2, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Charles David Stoner and Jeanette Elizabeth Farr Stoner. He was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church and was a retired machinist with GE. He served in the U.S. Navy and was member of Enoree Masonic Lodge #222 where he was Past Master and Chaplain.
Surviving is his loving wife, Ruby Johnson Stoner of the home; one daughter, Jennifer Miller (Clay) of Greenville; 4 grandchildren, Caroline Miller, Carson Miller, Sophia DelaTorre (Jonathan) and Jacob Martin (Samantha). He was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Martin and a brother, David Stoner.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. States Navy and Masonic Rites by Enoree Masonic Lodge #222.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Serving as pallbearers, Todd Knight, Nate Knight, Bee Corley, Eddie Rector, Wesley Sutton and Boyd Coletta.
The family is at the residence.
