WOODRUFF- Billy Donald Grubbs, 83, of 280 Parsons Road passed away Friday, January 22, 2021.

He was born October 3, 1937 to the late Floyd Sanford and Alice Minor Grubbs. He was a member of Woodruff Road Worship Center and was a retired employee with Spartan Steel and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Surviving are one daughter, Darlene Yown (Jason) of Charleston; one son, Richard Grubbs (Melissa) of Conway; 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his former wife Edna Waddell Edwards. He was predeceased by a son, Donnie Grubbs and two brothers, Eugene and Thurman Grubbs.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Don Powell. Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced during the visitation and funeral service.
