Billy Joe Nelson

WOODRUFF- Billy Joe Nelson,87, of 1539 Knighton Chapel Road passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home.

He was born May 16, 1937 in Spartanburg County to the late Posey Mack Nelson and Dorothy Mae Wright Nelson. He was a retired painter and had served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

Surviving is his sister, Shirley Rochester of Woodruff; one grandson, Kevin Nelson; step-grandson, Kevin Leon Rice. He was predeceased by a son, Danny Joe Nelson.

No formal services will be held.
