Billy Skinner

ENOREE- William Lamar “Billy” Skinner, 55, of 1191 Liberty Ridge Road went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of George Reid and Julia Edwards Skinner of Woodruff.  He was a member of Enoree Church of God where is was also a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.  He was a 1981 Graduate of Woodruff High School, was a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and attended Limestone College.  He was a former employee with Celanese in Enoree.

  Surviving are his loving wife, Trudy Arnold Skinner of the home; one daughter, Ava “Lexie”(Shane) Cogdill of Woodruff; two sons, Ty (Chelsie) Skinner of Boiling Springs and Jorge (Elizabeth) Santos of Duncan; one brother, Brad (Stacey) Skinner of Woodruff; two grandchildren, Zoe Cogdill and Addie Santos and a special aunt, Kaye Edwards of Enoree.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Enoree Church of God by Rev. Michael Shirley.  Entombment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Enoree Church of God, P.O. Box 85, Enoree, S.C. 29335.

  The family is at the residence.
