Bobbie P. Hulsey
On March 23, 2023, Bobbie Ruth Payton Hulsey finished her battle with cancer, which she faced bravely, and was healed by her Savior.
She was a retired LPN having spent her career serving special needs residents of The Charles Lea Center and students at Mary Bramlett Elementary School, she ended her career at White Oak Manor.
She had served as Worthy Matron from 2006 to 2007 in the Ruth Chapter 12 Order of the Eastern Star in Blacksburg, S.C.
Bobbie loved fishing, camping, flip-flops, the Clemson Tigers and her precious dog Jay. She was the most loving and supportive mother her children could have been blessed with.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Carl Edward Payton and Alton Payton and her sisters, Ethel McKellar and Evelyn Dunn.
She is survived by her children, Lee Bearden (Margie) Tracie Taylor (Mitchell) and Shane Bearden (Kaven); 12 grandchildren, Daniel Bearden (Kayla), Stephen Bearden, Maria Cornforth (David), Jeff Bearden (Kylie), Cierra Austin (Jared), Dakota Bearden (Aaron Ballew) Lee Bearden (Shelby), Emily Bearden, Sloane Buckley (Jacob), Matt Taylor (Aria), Kiya Bearden, and Jada Bearden; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Payton and a sister, Gail Gosnell and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Mr. Mitchell Taylor.
Visitation will be held from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
