WOODRUFF- Brenda Hamby Abercrombie Gregory, 80, of 35 Virginia Drive went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 25, 2021.

She was born February 2, 1940 to the late Vernon and Rebecca Lambert Hamby and was the widow of Odis Ray Gregory. She was a retired seamstress with Enro, RST&B Sewing and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Amy Pearson (Kevin) of Moore, Becky Harrold of Moore and Lori Hammerbeck (Robert) of Moore; one brother, Bill Hamby (Linda) of Wellford; 6 grandchildren, Jeanita Whitfield (Randy), Tanna Mullen (Patrick), Brandon Harrold (April), Jennifer Pearson, Emily Newman (Adam) and Allan Hammerbeck; 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Hamby.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Doug Huntsinger. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 9480 Hwy. 221, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced during the visitation and funeral service.
