WOODRUFF- Brenda Kay Hendrix, 77, of 140-A Shennandale Circle, Georgia Manor went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at her home.

She was born March 8, 1946, in Spartanburg County to the late Waymon Elia Hendrix and Tessie Marie Sloan Hendrix. She was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Jackson of Woodruff, Angie Jackson Grubbs of Cross Anchor and Terri Lynn Smith of Woodruff; one sister, Barbara Haney of Chesterfield, Virginia; one brother, Doug Hendrix of Woodruff; 5 grandchildren, Kara Marie Trammel, Christy Joan Green, Shavon Jackson, Jamie Foster and Holly Gibbs; 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Ranea Teseniar and Julia Teseniar.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God by Rev. Jonathan Knight and Mr. Danny Knight. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

The family will be at her home, 140-A Shennandale Circle, Woodruff.
