SPARTANBURG- Brenda Richard Rainwater, 76, of 121 Hadden Heights Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born December 23, 1946, in Spartanburg County to the late Lester and Dora Fortner Richard.  She was a retired realtor with Souther’s Real Estate and a member of Roebuck Church of God.

  Surviving is her husband, Bobby Rainwater of the home; two daughters, Reon Satterfield Garland of Moore and Teresa Satterfield Crisp (Rick) of Boiling Springs; one sister, Linda Faye Phillips of Moore; one brother, Lester Jerry Richard of Chesnee; 5 grandchildren, Lauren Garland Cisney (Brandon), Megan Garland, Katie Looney, Kassie Looney and Jacob Looney; two great grandchildren, Addy and Carter.

  She was predeceased by a son, Travis Rainwater and a brother, Gary Wayne Richard.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 24, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Roebuck Church of God by Rev. Richie Laster.  Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
