WOODRUFF- Carl Dean Collier, 80, of 890 Cavins Road passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his residence.

He was born September 8, 1942, in Union County to the late Oliver and Ruth Pace Collier. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Surviving is his wife Regina “Gina” Bailey Collier of the home; four daughters, Vickie Lyons, Valerie Weathers, Stacy Terry and Chynna Collier; eight sons, Dean Collier, Scotty Collier, Keith Collier, Tracy Collier, Steve Collier, Jason Collier, Travis Collier and Nicholas Collier; four sisters, Linda Mack, Barbara Stribling, Sandra Collier and Billie Sue Kennedy; one brother, Tony Collier; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Enoch Wilson with cremation to follow the service.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
