Carl Harrington Obituary

WOODRUFF- Carl Eric Harrington, 75, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

He was the firstborn son of Cynthia A. Harrington Viehman of Woodruff and the late Carl S. Harrington. He was a retired mechanic with Jeffrey Dresser formerly in Woodruff.

Eric is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John Harrington and wife Susan, a sister and brother-in-law, Beth Harrington Bennett, and husband Alvin. He is also survived by nephews, Carl Harrington, James Michael Harrington, Jason Harrington, and Adam Reed; nieces, Wanda Davis Campbell, and Amanda Reed; great-nieces and nephews, Britney, Piper, Alana, Channing, Liam, and Nathan. He is also survived by Pappy's Pickle, Alana.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Ann Harrington Davis, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Anyone who knew and loved him fell victim to his crazy sense of humor and practical jokes.

Private funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Matt Richardson.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
