Carol P. Mitchem

WOODRUFF- Carol Paty Mitchem, 85, of 1702 S.J. Workman Highway went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at her home.

  She was born November 7, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  She was a member of Cavins Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Enro Shirt Company formerly in Woodruff.

  Surviving is her husband, Billy Wayne Mitchem of the home, three sisters-in-laws and several nieces and nephews that she treated as her children.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Chuck Pace and Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers, Mitch Maddox, Stan Maddox, Will Maddox, Tony McAbee, Joey Estes and Bradley Estes.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Agape Care Hospice, 516 East Main Street, Spartanburg, S.C. 29302.

  The family is at the residence.
